Our Program

We plan to have a camp host available and at various times an educational guide to help with self-guided tours. You will be given free self-guided tour books on the Ranch to explore what nature and ranching has to offer.
We will also provide free educational information to some of the surrounding historical sites. This will give opportunity to see the surrounding area.

we are designing this opportunity to be as flexible as possible. This will be a great time for you and your children to learn together about our local history and natural setting.   Our train is undergoing maintenance and will not be operating.
What will it Cost?

A shower fee will be charged to all Groups camping of $25 per weekend to offset the extra cost of natural gas and carbon tax. We have a limited amount of hot water at any time, so showers need to be spaced apart and not when dishes are also being washed.  Hot water can be conserved by ‘shipboard showering’: where you get wet, then turn off the water while lathering up hair and body, then turn on water to rinse off, then repeat if needed.

Power for un-serviced tent group camping is available at the same rates stated above.

Day use: For those who want to come out to the Ranch for the day there is a $5 per person per day fee.

This is country camping in the Alberta foothills the temperatures drop especially at night and if windy, so come prepared with warm clothes,(yes even tuques and mitts in the Summer) warm sleeping bags and blankets to bundle up, especially in the evenings and overnight.
